Business overviewI have wanted to be a doctor since elementary school. I knew how hard it felt to be sick, and I wanted to help others feel better. My approach begins with listening. I believe understanding should come before intervention. I value both evidence-based medicine and thoughtful, personalized care while avoiding unnecessary or overly aggressive treatment whenever possible. My path to becoming a pediatrician has given me a broad view of children's health. I practiced as a pediatric surgeon for several years, then worked as a pediatric research scientist in the United States, and later trained as a pediatrician. I bring scientific rigor, a deep understanding of disease, and a commitment to caring for the whole child. Most of all, I want children to enjoy coming to the doctor. Whether I'm folding origami with a nervous child or drawing a cartoon for a curious mind, I try to make every visit welcoming, personal, and worth your time. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, and finding creative ways to make everyday life fun.
